I would like to ask for your advice regarding the nut I am looking for.
According to the sample, I found out with a thread gauge that it should be a nut:
Whitworth 9 G 7/8"
I am attaching a photo:
- measurement with a thread gauge.
It does not have to be a square nut, it can also be hexagonal.
But the nut should have a smaller "thickness",
because the old screw thread is not completely accurate and regular.
